B) Cleaning indicator
If symbol B and «CLEAN» appear on the display, the appli-
ance should be cleaned as recommended by the manufac-
turer. This symbol comes on automatically every 2 weeks,
depending on the level of use. The display can be reset by
depressing button A until light disappears.
C) Hygrostat (setting the humidity level)
Set the desired humidity in % by pressing button C. A
relative humidity of between 40% and 60% is recommen-
ded. The humidity can be set between 40% and 75%. The
measurement accuracy is +/- 5%. As soon as the humidity
exceeds the desired setting, the appliance switches off. The
device does not switch off if the display is set to «Co» (conti-
nuous operation). The desired value will be indicated during
selection. After a few seconds, the display automatically
shows the current value.
D) Empty indicator
The water level is easy to see, thanks to the transparent
water tank. The appliance also alerts you when the water
tank is empty. The empty indicator is illuminated (symbol
D). Please read the chapter „Filling the tank“ for more
information.
A) On-off dial and regulation
of mist output
Turning the right-hand rotary dial clockwise switches the
appliance on and at the same time regulates the mist out-
put from low to high.
B) Hygrostat (setting the humidity level)
The desired humidity level can be set by turning the left-
hand rotary dial clockwise. A relative humidity of between
40% and 60% is recommended. You can achieve this level
by rotating the dial until it is roughly in the vertical posi-
tion. The measurement accuracy is +/- 5%. As soon as the
humidity exceeds the desired setting, the appliance swit-
ches off. The appliance does not switch off if the dial is
turned all the way to the right as far as the arrow symbol.
This activates the continuous operation function.
C) Operation with water pre-heating
Pressing the pre-heating button (at the bottom between the
two rotary switches) pre-heats the water to 176° F (80° C)
before it enters the nebulizer space. The mist will now be
emitted at a pleasant 104° F (40° C). The advantages of
this are that the room temperature does not fall and water
cleanliness is significantly improved.
D) Empty indicator
The water level is easy to see, thanks to the transparent
water tank. The appliance also alerts you when the wa-
ter tank is empty. The red empty indicator is illuminated
(symbol D). Please read the chapter „Filling the tank“ for
more information.
Operation of the 7133 model Operation of the 7135 model E) Setting the timer
With button E you can set the humidifier to operate for
between 1 and 9 hours, or on continuous operation. When
selecting the desired time, «TIMwill be shown on the
display. The display will automatically show the current
humidity value after a few seconds.
F) Mist output (regulating mist output)
The mist output can be regulated by pressing button F
several times. If the red bars are displayed, you have
selected the highest level of mist output.
G) Operation with water pre-heating
Button G is used to switch the pre-heating function on or
off. Switching the function on pre-heats the water to 176°
F (80° C) before it enters the nebulizer space. The mist will
now be emitted at a pleasant 104° F (40° C). The advan-
tages of this are that the room temperature does not fall and
water cleanliness is significantly improved.
H) Automatic mode and Sleep mode
The automatic and sleep mode «ZZZ» can be activated by
pressing button H. If the automatic function is activated
(«AUTO» appears on the display), the ideal air humidity is
maintained relative to the temperature. This is regulated
using the output quantity and the preset desired value. If
the «ZZZ» function is set, the desired humidity is 60%; the
time setting is automatically set to 6 hours; the heating
element is switched on. In addition, the output quantity is
regulated, depending on the difference between the desired
and the actual values.
